Mineworks Group Labour Hire specialises in the provision of the following trades and workers to underground and surface miners in WA. Heavy duty plant mechanics and auto electricians, servicemen, drill fitters, blast hole and exploration drillers. There is high demand for employees who have experience in the mining industry and we pay top rates for skilled tradesmen and women. Almost all work is Fly-in Fly-out, with flights, accommodation and meals provided when away. Rosters are mostly 8x6 and 2x1, with some 3x1 available. There are several different minesites available.

Applicants living in the Eastern States of Australia are welcome to apply.
If you live outside of WA you must include with your application a cover letter that addresses the following issues and how you plan to approach them.
There are basically three options.
1/ Commuting to and from Perth for each swing. On a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, you would commute to or from Perth twice every three weeks (35 times a year) at your own cost. Flights may not align easily, so each of your 7 day breaks may be shortened by up to 2 days due to the extra travel. At the full hourly rate Mineworks Group Labour Hire will not pay for flights, but will pay accommodation costs for any required overnight stays in Perth (max 2 per swing).
After a qualifying period of three months, Mineworks Group Labour Hire will, in addition to overnight accommodation, pay for flights to and from your home state capital city, but this arrangement would necessitate a lower pay rate of $45/hr.
2/ Plan to commute initially then relocate to Perth. Constant interstate travel will start to wear thin. You can plan to relocate your family to the booming west and live in the "Wait-a-while" state!
3/ Plan a six month working holiday and rent in Perth. This is a great option for the un-attached or couples seeking some adventure before settling down.
